Rainfall totals are around three inches above average
measurements for Marion County so far this year. That's
according to state climatologist Harry Hillaker with the
Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. He
says 16.5 inches of rain have been recorded in Marion
County so far, which is three inches above average.
Hillaker also says area temperatures have been slightly
warmer than this time last year.
