Two North Carolina men were arrested Wednesday after allegedly breaking multiple hunting-related laws in southern Marion County. 47-year-old Billy Joe Billington and 44-year-old Jody Dale Papazekos have both been charged with three counts of unlawful transportation of a deer and three counts of possession of a tag issued to another person while deer hunting. They both have also been charged with laws relating to having uncased guns on the roadway. Both have been released from Marion County Jail on $7500 bond. Damages have not been released. Their trials are set for January 23rd.

Assisting the DNR were the Department of Transportation and the Marion County Conservation Board.
