There have been few three-day state meets quite like the one the Pella boys track and field team put together. Earning their fifth title since 2013 and sixth consecutive top three finish, the Dutch scored the most points of any Class 3A team ever at the famous Blue Oval at Drake Stadium. Pella’s 105 points were highlighted by four individual titles, including three on Saturday: Sprint Medley Relay, Shuttle Hurdle Relay, and Canaan Dunham in the 800 meters.

It’s been a long-time coming, but an incredible start to the weekend was capped with a third place finish for the Pella girls track and field team. The Dutch finished with 55 team points and brought home a third place trophy.
