
The start list for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships was released Friday and Central College will once again be strongly represented. The Dutch have 11 entries and 14 qualified student-athletes.
The Central men have three representatives in the decathlon with Kale Hobart, Gavin Smith, and Gage Huyser all qualifying. Additional male entries are Gunner Meyer in the 110-meter hurdles, Jack Brown in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and Lance Bunde in the high jump.
Olivia Bohlen is in the women’s heptathlon, while Peyton Steffen qualified in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000 meters. Sage Austin will make her national debut in the javelin throw. The 4×400-meter relay team of Alivia Roerdink, Emily McMartin, Kennedy Petersen and Ava Parkins also made it in.
The national meet will be held in La Crosse, Wisconsin this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
