Pella Christian led from start to finish in a 77-24 non-conference boys basketball game against Pekin last night on Eagle Lane as heard live on 92.1 KRLS.

Thirteen players dressed for P.C. and all 13 players scored, with Isaiah Breems (13 points) and Josiah Vos (10) leading the way. Coach J.D. Boer says that’s the first time something like that has happened in his coaching career.

“This schedule has been a bit of a gauntlet with a bunch of games and a lot of tough games. We play a tough schedule, and so tonight to be able to have an opportunity to get some different guys on the floor and see them contribute and continue to grow in different ways was cool to see.”

Twelve of the 13 Eagles had at least one rebound as well as Pella Christian had a commanding 40-14 advantage on the glass.

P.C. improves to 10-4 on the season and they have another non-conference game tonight as they join the girls for a homecoming doubleheader against Grandview Christian. You can hear that twinbill live on 92.1 KRLS and the Pella Christian YouTube channel beginning with pregame coverage at 6:00.
