Iowa author Linda McCann will be speaking about one of her books in Melcher-Dallas Friday September 23rd at the library at 2:00pm. The speech will be about the Civilian Conservation Corporation (CCC) and the role it played in the history of our state parks. The CCC was a group of young men between the ages of 17-23.
