The Pella Opera House invites the public to help them celebrate their 125th anniversary during an open house on Saturday, November 8th from 10-5 pm. The public is invited to walk through the building, enjoy live organ performance at 10:30 am and 2 pm, take a guided walk-through tour at noon, and enjoy the Martini Huis from 1-5 pm. There will also be an anniversary dinner catered by Country Catering in the Great Hall at 5:30 pm, and tickets for the dinner can be purchased for $60. The celebration will conclude with a free showing of the original 1924 version of Peter Pan, accompanied by Brett Valliant on the Barton Theatre Organ.
