United Way of Jasper County’s free speakers series “Voices of Inspiration” continues this year’s fall session with another presentation Thursday at the Newton DMACC Auditorium on Thursday November 6th at 6:00pm. Runner, author, and photographer Tyler Sullivan is the speaker. Sullivan has been to 1,298 cities across Iowa, running at least a mile in each community. He’s also written poems for each of the 97 Iowa counties he’s been in. He’ll be talking about some of the many adventures he’s had while running. Doors to the DMACC Auditorium will open at 6 p.m. Thursday., with free-will admission collected to help continue and grow the speaker series.
