The United Way of Jasper County presents the first Voices of Inspiration speaker on Thursday March 5th at the DMACC Newton Campus. The first speaker is Butter Cow Sculptor and Educator Sarah Pratt. Sarah has been sculpting butter for more than 30 years, starting as an apprentice with Norma “Duffy” Lyon, the famed butter sculptor. Sarah sculpts annually at state fairs in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. In addition to sculpting, Sarah is a teacher, collector of history and life long learner.
