David Gravel wanted a little redemption from Friday night. He and the rest of the World of Outlaws Nos Energy Drink Sprint Cars were a bit humbled by Brad Sweet on Friday. Sweet, who is the co-owner of the rival High Limit Series, won on Friday, and Gravel was determined to turn the tables on Saturday. He did that and more by leading all 25 laps to win night two of the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash at the Knoxville Raceway heard live on KNIA. Gravel took off from his 2nd starting position and looked to run away from everyone until an early red bunched up the field. Gravel again took command on the restart, but a caution near the halfway point allowed the rest of the field to close. While he was challenged by both Carson Macedo and Ryan Timms Gravel never let the lead slip away. He said in victory lane the track was tricky to drive on, but found a groove he was comfortable with.

Gravel: “I searched down low and lap 4 or 5 and during that red Cody said I had a big lead. Once it took rubber it just stuck like glue and it was there.”

Macedo was 2nd and Timms for the second straight night finished 3rd. While the Outlaws hit the road to the eastern part of the country the Knoxville Raceway prepares for the weekly opening night next Saturday.
