The Indianola boys golf team competed for the second time this season and placed fifth in the Jesse Peck Invite at Briarwood Golf Club in Ankeny Wednesday with a team score of 297. The day for Indianola was highlighted by Junior Aiden Nguyen, who finished as the individual runner-up and shot two under par for a 69 on the round. Other top finishers for the Indians included Wesley Nailor who shot a 74, Hank Gorder shot a 75 and Daltry Tupper shot a 79.
Up next for Indianola is the Johnston Invitational at Jester Park Golf Course. The tournament begins at 9 a.m.
