The Indianola Community School District Board of Education has approved the renaming of the district’s softball and baseball complex to the “Shull Athletic Complex”.
The decision honors long time community member and district supporter Mr. Doug Shull, whose generous investment helped support the improvements to the facility.
The Shull Athletic Complex is expected to serve current and future generations of Indianola students while providing a space the community can take pride in.
Temporary signage has been installed and a public open house and recognition is being planned for May 18 at 6:30 PM during the High School Baseball game and Softball Scrimmage both vs. Dowling Catholic.
