Boys’ Track and Field
The Indianola boys track and field team competed at the Waukee Northwest Invite Thursday and placed third with a combined team score of 97 points. Top finishers for the Indians included Kiefer Barnes winning the 800m run with a season-best 1:57.23, Reed Robbins won the 3200m run with a season-best 9:26.45, Parker Amos placed second in the long jump clearing 21-04.50, Thomas DeWall finished second in the high jump clearing 6-02.00, and Easton McGraw placing third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.65, resulting in a personal best. Up next for the Indians is the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet in Indianola Tuesday.
Boys’ Soccer
The Indianola boys soccer team fell to Johnston 3-0 in a home match Thursday night. The Dragons scored all three goals in the first half. The Indians fell to 4-5-2 on the 2026 season. Up next for Indianola is a home match Monday against Little Hawkeye opponent, Pella. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
