Join Iowa Author and Storyteller Dave Baker for a presentation about Coalport, which was a lively 19th century Des Moines River community on Friday May 30th at the Coal Ridge Church at 6:00pm. Everyone is invited to learn about this community. Baker will have newspaper clippings, artifacts, and maps. Refreshments will follow the presentation. Admission is free, but donations to the church are appreciated.
