
The PCM softball team earned a lopsided win on the road against Saydel Tuesday night in a Heart of Iowa Conference matchup.
The Mustangs defeated the Eagles 20-5 in six innings. Saydel led 4-3 at the end of the first inning and PCM then led 12-5 at the end of five innings. The Mustangs would then explode for eight runs in the sixth to hold on for the statement win. Camden Webb pitched all five innings giving up three hits, five runs, and recorded eight strikeouts. Tori Lindsay had a grand slam in the contest while Jayden Fridley had a pinch hit three run home run for the first of her career. Ryan DeVore, Libby Winters, and Hadley Millang all had multiple hit nights and combined for eight RBI. The PCM softball team improves to 4-2 overall and will next compete tonight against South Hamilton.
