Three PCM varsity athletic teams were in action on Friday.
The PCM girls golf team competed at a home meet at Gateway Recreation that featured eight total teams. The Mustangs placed fourth with a team score of 403 at the 18-hole event. The top individual finisher for PCM was Gretchen Uitermarkt who placed 12th with a score of 95. The PCM girls golf team will be back home on Monday.
The PCM boys golf team competed at a quad in Knoxville at Pine Knolls Golf Club. The Mustang boys placed second with a team score of 155 at the nine-hole event competing against Knoxville, Albia, and Chariton. The top individual scores for PCM was Parker DeHaai who placed fourth with a 38 and Charlie Ford who placed fifth with a 38. The PCM boys golf team will be back in action on Monday at Washington.
The PCM soccer team defeated Sigourney-Keota 3-0. Dylan Beyer had two goals in the contest while Dominic Witt had one. The Mustang soccer team improves to 4-4-2 overall. The PCM soccer team will next compete on Monday against Greene County.
