A pair of ties and a split in duals were the result of a busy Saturday at Pella High School for the Dutch boys soccer and tennis teams.
Pella’s boys soccer team found a pair of draws with both Fort Madison 1-1 and ADM 2-2. Hank Duffy scored all three goals in the doubleheader. The Dutch are now 3-3-4 overall and head to Ottumwa on Monday.
The Dutch tennis boys were 5-4 winners over Waterloo Columbus and fell 6-3 to Sergeant Bluff-Luton. Pella found four singles wins in their victory over the Sailors, including Brayden Van Horn, Corbin Van Dyke, Hayden Johnson, and Porter Carlton. The trio of Van Dyke, Johnson, and Carlton had the lone three wins against the Warriors.
Pella will host Newton and Waverly-Shell Rock on Monday at 9 a.m.
