Tulip bulb planting is set to return this coming month in Pella, which for Pella Historical Museums means it’s soon time to tear out the annuals filling their flower beds. Executive Director Jessi Galligan says they want to share that beauty with the community by bringing back their Bouquet Days. Participants can bring their shears and take home as many as flowers as they can carry on October 1st through the 3rd during regular hours. Museum members are welcome to join Bouquet Days for free; and for non-members, the cost is $12. This fee includes admission to the Historical Village. Galligan asks that those who participate do not clip from the pots or take any mums and do not dig. Equipment will not be provided, so those who plan to attend should bring their own clippers and buckets.
