The Pella softball team bounced back from a tough end to the Tulip City Showdown on Monday with a 12-7 victory over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Tuesday while celebrating the program’s three seniors.
Pella fell behind early on Senior Night before tying the game with a five-run bottom of the 3rd, which including a Lucy Carlson three-run home run. The Dutch would score in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings to pull away from the Rockets. Avery Parks was 4-for-4 at the plate and Riley Parks was 2-for-4, with Stella Rhamy and Alexis Pleima also each getting two hits apiece.
The Dutch improve to 14-13 and are off until wrapping up the conference season Friday at Oskaloosa.
