
Pella Girls Golfers Win Home Quad by Tiebreaker
The Pella Girls Golf Team was victorious in a home quad on Tuesday night. The Dutch shot a team score of 208, tying with Albia. In an event of a tie, the tie breaker goes to the 5th score. Leading scores: Moriah Reynolds (49), Laynie Shuman (52), Mackenzie Johnston (53), Carlyn Henry (54), and fifth score Payton Roose (56).

Dutch Boys Golfers Drop Below 300 in Win at Oskaloosa
The Pella boys golf team shot a season low team score of 298 to capture the Oskaloosa Invite held at Edmundson golf course in Oskaloosa. KJ Besick led the way, shooting a 1 under par 69 for Medalist honors. Cole Floden (74), Landon Reynolds (75), and Anderson Dana (80) were the other scorers for the Dutch. Pella is now 66-7 on the season and will host the Dutch Classic on Thursday at Bos Landen starting at noon.

Pella Girls Soccer Scores Twice Late to Win Over P.C.
The Pella Girls Soccer team scored twice late to topple rival Pella Christian in the Tulip City showdown 2-0. In the 68th minute, Avary Hunsinger dribbled her way into the box and slotted a ball with her left foot on the ground and it found the back of the net. The Dutch struck again four minutes later with McKyndree Treft beating the Eagles defense down the left side of the field and finding Hunsinger open in the middle of the box for her second goal of the night. The Dutch will next take on SE Polk on Thursday night at SE Polk. Varsity kickoff will be at 6:00.

Pella Boys Soccer Falls on Eagle Lane
Despite striking first in the first few minutes, it was advantage Eagles as Pella Christian scored a second half to win 2-1 over the Dutch. Pella found an opening five minutes in but the Eagles had several opportunities that followed. The Eagles scored in the 49th minute to take the advantage they would hold onto until the final horn.

Pella Boys and Girls Track and Field Both Place 2nd in Grinnell
It was a pair of team runner-up finishes for the Pella boys and girls track and field teams at Grinnell on Tuesday. The Dutch boys scored 70 points and the girls tallied 80.
