The #12 in 2A Pella girls soccer team hosted Carlisle in a non-conference game, winning 3-1. The Dutch controlled the tempo and possession throughout the evening, according to head coach Scott Treft. The scoring chances came early and often, with the Dutch finding the back of the net in the 21st minute as Avary Hunsinger broke through the backline, Maelee Solomon served up a ball to McKyndree Treft in the 58th minute, and Hunsinger added another in the 67th minute to put the game out of reach. The Dutch will enjoy some rest over Tulip Time and are back in action on Tuesday, May 12th, as they host Newton on Senior Night.
