The Simpson football team is back on campus to begin fall camp. The Storm are coming off a 6-4 2025 season that included a 5-3 conference record. Fourth-year Head Coach Reed Hoskins says he is enthusiastic about the returners, especially at the skill positions.
“We’re fortunate on both sides by having a number of guys returning, that’s for sure. Offensively, a majority of our skill guys come back. We’re really excited about that. We’ve seen some of that experience show up early on in this first week. There’s certainly some new faces in our offensive line and have some veterans competing as well as biting their tongue a little bit. We also have a few guys that started a number of games for us. It’s always fun to see that combination of guys come together. No two teams are the same. It’s been a good start for that group so far.”
Simpson opens up the season in Rock Island, Illinois at Augusta College with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
