The 2026 Tulip Queen and Royal Court is excited to welcome thousands of visitors to their hometown this week as the community celebrates its 91st annual Tulip Time festival.
Queen Kenzie Kanis and Attendants Riley Braafhart, Addie Van Arendonk, Abbie Brand, and Lexi Terpstra have been making appearances across the region in anticipation of the three-day festival that starts on Thursday. Brand says she has enjoyed getting the opportunity to promote the annual festival.
“It’s just been really fun to get to travel with these girls and just get to just promote Tulip Time. My favorite part of it has definitely been visiting all the schools, just inspiring the next generation of Tulip Time members that will be volunteering in our community and also hopefully doing some Tulip court things once they get a little older. That’s just been really fun to help inspire them to just try to help and be a part of Tulip Time in as many ways as they can.”
