For our #6 moment for Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas we go back to Twin Cedars and spotlight boys basketball. It had been a while since the Sabers had a winning season in boys basketball and some of those seasons since 2013 had two or even three wins. This past winter the Sabers finished with an 11-10 record under 2nd year coach Kale Rodriguez. The Sabers started the season 1-3 but a three game winning streak that stretched into January gave Twin Cedars momentum and by the time the Bluegrass Conference Tournament started the Sabers were 9-6 and advanced to the tournament quarterfinals.
