The Pella softball team travelled to Centerville last night and came up on the short end 2-0.

Mandy Demeulenaers took the loss giving up one earned run on five hits while striking out nine and walking only one, The Lady Dutch had just three hits on the night led by Whitney Pavlat who was 2-3 and Lisa Houser who went 1-3. Lady Dutch coach Krista Demeulenaere says one thing she’s been impressed with so far this season is the chemistry of her team on and off the field. Most of the girls have been playing together at the varsity level for three or four years now and she says that experience is starting to show on the field.

Pella dropped to 2-3 overall and will travel to South Tama tonight for a Freshman/JV/Varsity tripleheader starting at 4:30pm.
