An extensive preventative maintenance project for the City of Pella’s sanitary sewer system will be taking place later this summer. Pella Public Works Director Denny Buyert tells KNIA/KRLS News that the city recently approved a contract with Visu-Sewer to clean and televise several miles of the city’s sewers. The process has been emphasized for many years by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to help city’s identify potential problem areas in their infrastructure.
