The Knoxville girls basketball tean plays its home opener tonight against Albia. The Panthers are a week removed for their season opening 22-point loss to Perry in a game that Knoxville turned the ball over 25 times. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says turnovers need to be cut down if his team is to have any chance to win this season. He adds the new flex offense is making improvements in practice.

This will also be our season opening broadcast on AM 1320 KNIA starting tonight at six with the tip at 6:15.
