Pheasant Numbers Declining

In the last five to six years, pheasant numbers in Iowa have been declining. Marion County Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon says that wet, cold weather in the spring, along with landscape change are the main factors in this trend. Kenyon adds that groups like Pheasants Forever help farmers replant habitat that is inviting to the pheasant and quail populations.
