The Knoxville Football Squad put up a fight, but Oskaloosa proved too much in the end as the Indians pulled out a 34-20 win over the Panthers. The game was tied at six late in the third quarter when Osky scored to go up 14-6 with 16 seconds remaining in the third, however the Indians would score 20 points in the fourth quarter to open up a 34-12 advantage. Knoxville would close out the scoring with a Gerritt Davis pass to Ross Shelford who lateraled to Tanner Dunkin for a 49-yard touchdown play. After the game, Coach Troy Rider told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team played well and had their chances. Knoxville was led on the ground by Connor Bailey who tallied 76 yards on 11 carries plus a touchdown, Ross Shelford had 55 yards on four catches and a touchdown, while Gerritt Davis threw 110 yards. Knoxville finishes 2013 with an 0-9 record.
