Only scoring ten first half points, the Twin Cedars’ boys’ basketball team could not recover from their slow start and fell to Van Buren, 59 – 41 on Tuesday night in the Class 1A district semifinals. Otis Roby was not at 100% for the hot Sabers, and only finished with six points. Dylan Springer had a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds while Coy Moore had 11. Twin Cedars’ boys finish the season 15 – 8 and lose a whopping seven seniors off of their varsity squad.
