The Roe Center, one of three LEED rated buildings on the Central College campus uses a new 25kW solar array energy system. Central’s Solar project was made possible with a $250,000 grant from the Iowa Office of Energy Independence funded through the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Roe Center is the home of the Education, Psychology, Communication Studies departments and the new Center for Global Sustainability Education.
