The Pella City Council will hold a public hearing on the
city solid waste contract at their meeting tonight. This
is the second attempt at a new contract as council voted
to restart the bidding process at a meeting in April. The
current agreement with Midwest Sanitation expires July 31.
In other business, council is scheduled to set the public
hearing date for the electric budget. The Pella City
Council meets at 7:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex.
