There was a car/bicycle collision Monday morning at the intersection of Woodlawn and Hazel in Pella. Pella Police Officer Paul Haase tells KNIA/KRLS News on scene that the 8 year child rode out into the street and was struck by the car. According to Haase, the child avoided more serious injury because she was wearing a helmet, but she was transported to the Pella Regional Health Center with a broken arm. There were no charges filed in the accident.
