Meghan Keller was crowned the 2009 Knoxville Nationals Queen last night during the annual queen competition at Dyer-Hudson Hall. Brooke Hickman received 1st runner up and Brooke Blurton received 2nd runner up, with Kassie Moore names Miss Congeniality. The event had 13 contestants this year, and both the competition and scoring were very close, according to judges. The queen and her court will be involved in many events this week for Nationals, including being the parade, handing out the trophies for the weeknight races, and more.
