When you finish the regular season undefeated and win a district title, it’s hard to pick any area that struggled. One area that was a bit of a struggle was the offense last year, mostly because they initiated a whole new offense where they featured mostly the spread and ran from the shotgun. It took everyone awhile to really grasp and understand some of the offensive schemes. Coach Jay Mckinstrey says with a year under their belts the guys really seem more comfortable with things this year and they don’t plan on changing much as far as their offensive plans. Pella will be led by quarterback Blaine Forsythe who Mckinstrey says has really been a great leader through the preseason.
