Following a public hearing, the Pella City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance amending the city zoning regulations pertaining to vehicle and equipment display lots during their meeting Tuesday night. The council also approved the contract for an Iowa DOT project on Oskaloosa street, and passed the second readings of ordinances amending the water and wastewater rates for the City of Pella, among other issues.
