Central College seniors Hannah Anderson and Angie Berry have been named to the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association’s All-Academic Honor Team. Anderson carries a 3.96 cumulative grade point average with a biology major while Berry has a 3.68 GPA while majoring in social science/secondary education. To be eligible for the USTFCCCA honor team, the athlete must carry a minimum of a 3.30 cumulative GPA and must finish in the top 35 at her NCAA regional meet. Berry placed 21st at the NCAA Division III Central while Anderson placed 29th. Both received all-region honors and both runners competed for the Dutch at the NCAA Division III national meet, helping Central place 19th in the U.S.
