The Central College Dutch open another important set of games today, as they begin a three game series with Simpson College on the baseball diamond. After sweeping Luther College last weekend, the Dutch are 22-8 overall and 11-4 in Iowa Conference play.

A victory today over the rival Storm would gain the Central baseball team more ground in a the very competitive league race, as they continue to make a push for postseason play.

The nine-inning game between Central and Simpson is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. today at the A.N. Kuyper Athletic Complex in Pella, followed by a seven-inning doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
