The approval of over $951,000 in budget adjustments was among the key items handled at Monday’s Pella School Board meeting. The adjustments had been recommended during a special session meeting last week, and will cover the gap left by a reduction in available state funding. In other business, the Pella School Board approved sharing agreements with Ottumwa for boys swimming and Newton for girls swimming and the “Basics and Beyond” program; and set a public hearing for May 24th on a recommendation to increase the Instructional Support Levy.
