Knoxville fell to Albia in softball last night 8-1. Jess Stickel took the loss allowing all eight runs on nine hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. Kelsey Kingery had a double and scored Knoxville’s only run, while Shawnee Conrad went one-for-three and batting in Kingery. Coach Steph Christner said five errors contributed to the eight runs that Albia scored. Knoxville is 0-2 and will have an off day today before hosting Clarke tomorrow night.
