JoAnna Wells was near perfect and Murray only was allowed a base runner at third one time as The Saints blanked the Mustangs in softball last night 7-0. Wells went five innings and allowed just one hit, one walk and fanned eight batters. Lexi Crozier pitched the final two innings in relief. Wells even helped her own cause by belting an R-B-I double in the fourth inning. Ally Rowley had two doubles, a single, and an R-B-I, and Hayley Branson also had an R-B-I single. With the win Melcher-Dallas goes to 8-3 on the season and 4-0 in the Bluegrass Conference.
