For the third time this week, the Pella Christian baseball team faced Norwalk last night in Norwalk and came up on the short end of things 13-6. Kyle Deronde took the loss pitching in relief of Tom Bouwkamp. Zack Zylstra led the Eagles at the plate going 3-4 with 3 RBI. The loss drops the Eagles to 15-8 overall and 8-5 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The loss probably takes them out of contention for a conference title, but with eight conference games remaining, coach Brad Rolffs says they are still very much able to finish second if they play strong. The Eagles travel to Oskaloosa for a varsity doubleheader tonight starting at 5:30pm.
