While Class two-A baseball teams got their postseasons underway last night, Class 1A must wait until Tuesday to start their perspective roads to Principle Park. Two Marion County teams hoping to start traveling down that stretch of highway are Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas. Both will play in first round games at Twin Cedars Tuesday night. The Saints will take on Southeast Warren in a first round contest at five, while the Sabers will battle North Mahaska in the nightcap. There is a possibility of an all Marion County battle in the district semi-finals Thursday is the two team would win their first round games. Twin Cedars is also scheduled to host the District final next Saturday.
