The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in a special session this morning. The purpose of the meeting is to receive a briefing from Marion County Engineer Roger Schletzbaum in regards to FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program in which the county qualifies for both individual and public assistance. Following the briefing, the board will approve or deny a resolution directing Schletzbaum to proceed with necessary repair and mitigation project processes. The meeting will take place at 9am in the boardroom of the Marion County Courthouse.
