Cold and flu season is here and sometimes antibiotics are not the answer. Dr. Ron Childerston from Pella Regional Health Center says that he believes often times people want quick fixes and think that antibiotics are the answer. Childerston says that the majority of the times when people complain about a sore throat and a runny nose, they are typically viral and something that antibiotics will not fix. Childerston says that he thinks that America as a whole is over-medicated and the best thing to do is rest and take some time off rather than look for a quick fix.
