While Knoxville was not given a wrestling district this coming season, the Panthers will not have to travel far for their postseason matches. The Panthers have been put in the Newton district. Knoxville will have to contend with state 3A powers Newton, Southeast Polk, and Indianola along with Des Moines Lincoln, Des Moines East, Marshalltown, and Norwalk. Wrestling practice for high schools will begin on November 15th.
