Area alumni of country schools are encouraged to come out and share memories and artifacts regarding those bygone days at a presentation Wednesday in Pella. Bill Sherman, a co-founder of the Country Schools Association will be on hand to lead the presentation, which will focus on the rich history of country schooling, where it stands today, and what we can learn about that system to apply to current education trends. The presentation is at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Fair Haven East.
