The Marion County Cattlemen were out grilling hamburgers for the 4-H food stand yesterday to help promote the 4-H beef show. Tim Van Roukel, president of Marion County Cattlemen, says that promoting the beef industry starts with the youth involved in it. He says they help buy trophies for the winners of the cattle show here at the county and arrange pictures to be taken for the kids at the auction. They also promote the auction to businesses around the county to help ensure a successful auction for the kids involved.
