Richard Jones, Jr. was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison Friday morning in Marion County District Court. The 20-year-old Knoxville man pled guilty to third-degree sexual abuse last month. He had admitted to having sex with a 15-year-old girl multiple times earlier this year. Jones will also have to register as a sex offender and give a DNA to have on file. He will also serve a lifetime parole, a special sentence given mainly to sex offenders.
