As we have told you, the numbers for the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad are a bit lower than in past seasons, but according to Coach Mike Moats ,what he does have are some rather talented runners that are coming back. Leading the way are Alyssa Van Klootwyk, who placed 44th at last year’s state meet, also Lydia Anderson, and Hannah Wallace. Moats says those three should not only be the top three runners but should also be the leaders of the team. Knoxville starts its season next Tuesday at the Southeast Polk Invitational.
